Teachers: UK Set To Massively Recruit Nigerian Teachers In February 2023

In December, the UK Department of Education announced that it would be accepting applications from non-UK citizens.

The Department of Foreign Affairs stated that the candidates don't need to have any teaching qualifications to apply for the program.

According to the publication, teachers who have qualified in nine countries will be able to apply for the QTR through the Teachers' Registration and Transfer (TRA).

To be eligible for the program, teachers from other countries should demonstrate that they meet the necessary requirements. This route will eventually be opened to other countries as well.

How to apply to teach in UK without a formal teaching experience

To be eligible for the program, teachers from other countries should demonstrate that they meet the necessary requirements. These include having at least two years of experience as a teacher and having a first-class English language proficiency. They should also have a mathematics or physics qualification that's equivalent to the level of a grade four GCSE.
