In the life cycle of every great campaign organization is the woman. Women are pivotal in achieving massive results in every election, be it in Nigeria or any other country in the world.
This is the situation right now as obtains in Atiku Presidential Campaign Organization (APCO). This unique organization has been able to weather storms particularly from the opposition and have triumphed. It therefore has decided to take the bull by the horn by ensuring women occupy their well deserved place in the scheme of things.
It was therefore with great joy when Mrs. Elizabeth Fadahunsi was nominated as the National Woman Leader of APCO. Her appointment comes as no surprise to millions who have met her either in business or politics.
Mrs. Elizabeth Fadahunsi is an astute and successive business woman with strings of business successes trailing her. She is also a political Titan with eyes for details, a professional that seek results with little or no room for failure, no wonder she was picked for the task ahead.
The office of the woman leader is one that comes with huge tasks and responsibilities and it is a commonly held view among stake holders that the new woman leader has all it takes to succeed.
His Excellency Atiku Abubakar GCON, Waziri Adamawa is a man of excellence who pays special attention to women and youths, hence the ascendancy of Mrs. Elizabeth Fadahunsi is a most welcome development and a step in the right direction.
Watchers of the current politosphere agree that so far Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi have shown signs that they will keep to their promise to encourage women and youths when elected.
