I have been itching to write this piece But could not do that because of my previous Trip to Dubai.A friend of mine in the Media called me and said your Governor is LEADERSHIP Newspapers GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR.
What do I have to say? I asked him what did he want me to say? He said my reaction to the nomination,I asked if my reaction is going to be in Print or just for his consumption,he said whichever I want,I said to him I do not want it in Print,let it be for his consumption, he asked why I wanted it that way, so I told him its personal until after the Award.
I said to him yes Dankwambo deserves it for one reason, let them look for other reasons.I said In 2015 which is the period under review for the award Dankwambo's electoral victory was indeed a miracle,how he did it I dont know.
I said to him the APC wanted Gombe by all means, the only state Badly needed by APC, inspite of "BUHARI'S" Popularity, Gombe state was the only state PMB Visited three times before the General elections,Gombe was the only state and the last state PMB visited two days before General Elections, Gombe is one of the states PMB visited to Campaign and His Wife also Visited to Campaign and APC needed Gombe Badly yet DANKWAMBO won.
That makes him stand out among other Governors,I wonder where in Nigeria a Governor will survive that kind of Support from a PHENOMENON Called PMB in 2015 and yet PDP will produce the GOVERNOR.
GOV DANKWAMBO has taught APC in Gombe state a bitter Lesson and now the same APC wanted to plant yet another seed for DANKWAMBO to Germinate most likey on 28th of OCTOBER 2016 taking the form of Decamp.
Some people decamp from PDP to APC,Good but in the Conventional principle of Decamping,people decamp to add value,people Decamp as assets not Liabilities, people Decamp based on Principle,people decamp to add in Number.I am not sure of the names of the Decampees yet but can the APC ask all Decampees to come with the registers of their supporters and with an AFFIDAVIT that those supporters are not rented Crowds,What was their contribution to PDP before coming to APC? How are we sure that if they dont get what they want they will not go back,Also lets not forget they may be on a mission or sent for a mission.
