Prof. Ambrose Alli's Secretary Mrs. A.A.A. Ebhotemhen Laid To Rest in Benin City, Edo State

The former Secretary to Prof Ambrose Alli and an important figure in setting up Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, was recently laid to rest by her family led by the only son, Barrister Leslie Ebhotemhen. She was aged 75.

The burial which took place on 25th and 26th November 2021, had in attendance dignitaries from all works of life. 

Barrister Leslie who on behalf of the children, adjudged the burial a huge success, he also extended the family's gratitude to those who attended the event to honor their late mum. 

"She was given a full Catholic burial which was led by Rt Reverend Emmanuel Chuks Ogbolu of the Assumption Catholic Church Upper Mission extension, Benin.

Mrs. Aduke Anthonia Azewanre was born in Ibadan Oyo state 1946, she hailed from Ivbiodonhen Okpuje Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State.

She had her primary school leaving certificate with Abadina Primary School and obtained her Secondary School Certificate from Loyola College, Ibadan, Oyo state.

She obtained her Higher national Diploma (HND) in Secretarial Studies at Auchi Polytechnic and further bagged a BSc. in Public Administration.

She went on to obtain an LLB in Ambrose University in 1998 and capped it with a Masters in Public Administration.

She is blessed with a Son and two Daughters. Until her death, she was a devout Catholic and very humble Christian.

She is fondly identified as Mama AAU in recognition of her role in setting up the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
